NAMIBIAN CRAB

Chaceon maritae

Also known as deep‑sea red crab. Artisanal pot fishing that preserves the seabed and other species, at depths between 600 and 1,200 m.

Immediately after capture, the crab is processed, graded and frozen onboard at ‑40ºC.

Our vessel, the INDEPENDENCE, has the capacity to process crab both raw and cooked onboard in its different cuts. Both cooking and cooling are done using seawater, achieving exceptional product quality and freshness.
